Up for auction today is my 1950 Lincoln All Original Sport Sedan. True survivor in every essence of the word. Will need mechanical restoration. Body and interior only need cleaning / sprucing up.

This is not the cosmopolitan or Capri. It is simply a Lincoln Sport Sedan.

This car was a one owner car up until a week or so ago!

I found it locally here from a guy who stumbled upon on it with some other things from the original 90 plus year old lady!

This was their traveling car back in the day!

The odometer reads a bit over 85000 miles.

There is no rust issues with this car. See under body picture of the frame. This is indicative of the whole under carriage. Very solid. Body has no “Bondo” or blistering rust repairs anywhere. True Detroit steel here.

The only issue I see is a small area in the trunks under the mat. It is scaly under there but not all the way through. A 6 inch by 8 inch approx. area. Not bad. The trunk mat is very brittle. From where I could lift that mat it looks real nice!

All the paint appears to be original. Straight body!

Being original paint is does need polishing / buffing. There are tiny specs throughout the paint from sitting from the elements. Maybe, I stress maybe, the hood may have been painted at some point as it has cracking in the paint and paint is chipped toward the back of that hood. See picture. It would be a sin to paint this car!

The chrome is all above average. It is 72 years old. Very straight and most of it shines as I did a little cleaning. There is pitting in different areas. Bumpers are straight and above average.

The glass is way above average all around!

The engine is a V8 flathead. It is not locked up. Supposedly it was running 5 years ago or so. It turns freely with the 6 volt battery it has.

Transmission is an automatic.

Brakes need redone. Pedal goes to floor.

All four wheel are free spinning. Will winch onto a trailer.

Tires are old. 3 hold air. the fourth stays aired for about a day.

I put as new 6 volt battery in it. The lights came on and the cars engine cranks. Tail lights come on radio light come on!

the car is the factory tan with two toned brown on top. Beautiful Combination.

Interior is very nice. There is NO MICE OR RHODENT smell at all. Car was always sheded.

The front and rear seats have seat covers on them from when it was new. An option at the dealer!
The front cover is worn and tore on top. the rear is nice.

The carpet is original and about 50 / 50 as its lost some of its fur here and there.

The headliner is excellent. See picture.

The door panels are very nice.

The dash is beautiful as well as the rear package deck. The speaker grill back there is factory and looks like the speaker off a 50’s juke box!

The suicide doors open and close perfectly.

Every area you look at on this car shows true Lincoln Quality.

This is a restorable original car that probably is one of a only a handful that are left in this condition..

Mostly you see the 50 Mercury’s. These Lincolns look close to the same car.

It would be a sin to repaint or modify any areas of this car. What it needs is someone to get it street able and just just polish and clean it up. Cruise it like they did in the 50’s.

Could you imagine this car at your local hang out being this original. A show stopper for sure.

they are original only once! a 72 year old original car that not in bad shape. A visionary, an appreciator of history as I am, is the person I’d like see get this car.

I have a clear title to this car.

I’m a Mopar guy. Yesterday a Mopar came up that I cant pass up. This Lincoln will just probably sit back in the corner, so I’m offering it up for auction.

The VIN matches the clear title I have in my possession.

The car is sold as is.

Please see my feedback, I value my 100% positive rating. My descriptions are as accurate as I can make them.

I may get a bit windy on my descriptions but you can never have too much information when your dealing on the scary World Wide Web!

I have a Nebraska resale certificate. I’ve had this for 25 years as it keeps my hobby legal in the eyes of Nebraska law.

Rest assured all paperwork will be handled as per Nebraska law.
