1953 Ford F100 Half Ton Short Bed Survivor Pickup. Very Solid With Little To No Rust In The Cab. Floors And Doors Have No Rust And Cab Corners Have A Very Small Amount Of Rust. Fenders And Bed Are Solid As Well. Running Boards Have Some Rust But Still Solid. Looks To Have Had One Repaint Years Ago With The Original Color Being Similar Dark Blue On The Dash And Firewall. I Left The Old Body Alone And Mechanically Restored It Back To Original With Many New Parts To Make This Pickup Roadworthy Again. Has The Original 8BA Flathead Motor That Runs Excellent With A Three Speed On The Column That Shifts Through The Gears Great. All New Mechanicals Including Brakes From Master Cylinder To Wheel Cylinders. New Dual Exhaust All The Way To Rear Bumper With Thrush Mufflers. New Gas Tank, Sending Unit, Fuel Lines And New Fuel Pump. New Carb, New Water Pumps, Rebuilt Starter And Generator, New Plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor, Points, Coil, Condenser. Reconditioned Radiator, New Thermostats And New Hoses. Also Has New Radial Tires For That Smoother Ride On Original 15″ Ford Steel Wheels. Has A New Wood Bed And New Glass. All The Gauges Work, Runs And Drives Down The Road Nicely. This Is Far From A Show Truck But Is A Really Cool Original Old School Patina Turn Key Driver That You Can Tinker On As You Go. This Truck Cruises Comfortably At 50-55 mph And Is Bone Stock Original. This Is Not A Restored Show Truck Or Restomod That Goes 80 Down The Freeway But An Every Day Cruiser That Turns Just As Many Heads For A Lot Less Money. Note, The Left Front Fender Does Not Match The Rest Of The Truck Patina But Still Presentable. It Blends In Well In The Pics And Hard To Notice.
