looking to get rid of this classic car at a loss. Have stored this vehicle for 22 years, and now time to let go. Our tire shop removed engine and had SF engine completely rebuild this straight six motor. Originally we weren’t able to start motor, due to the lifters were adjusted to tight, but we loosened them and flushed the fuel system and the motor ran pretty well. We never put any effort into future repairs and left vehicle sit for 15 years. Now vehicle is being sold as is. Tried to start recently and was able to start. vehicle has a 6 volt battery system, and maybe should be converted. This vehicle is unregistered, and not even in California’s DMV data base. I did a lien sale a couple of years back and I currently possess paperwork. DMV told by that vehicle would have to be verified by them or a police officer to be verified in order to get new registration. I wasn’t willing to put any time or effort into fixing this classic vehicle, because I do not have the time, nor the ambition. I just recently put 4 virtually Brand new Hankook tires on vehicle. Vehicle has 2 broken window, but all the glass is still attached. Front and rear windows are in great shape.
