1956 Chevrolet 210 , 4 door sedan. auto transmission. Stored since late 1970s when engine quit. Recently purchased and a 283 engine installed to replace the bad 265 engine. Very straight and solid as it was stored indoors for all those years. Only rot is at r rear door sill. Good running , driving with good brakes. Transmission shifts fine. Has nice heavy road feel. Tires are bald, exhaust system is somewhat loud. Several windows have cracks. Could use a repaint and a little body work. New gas tank installed, rebuilt carburetor, tune up, oil change. Have lots of interesting paperwork, receipts, and notes from the second (last) owner who purchased the car in 1958. Great car to drive now and fix up as you go. Have title.
Please don’t ask about driving it home hundreds of miles. The car has not been gone thru thoroughly and anything could happen. Be safe and trailer. Buyer is responsible for all pick up and transport arrangements.
