This great mark II is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition and also rides like a dream. The odometer reads 42,5XX miles and it is believed to be correct. Stunning in it’s color combination of black exterior with red vinyl interior.

This car has strong paint and lines, strong interior, strong underside, runs great etc. There are minor cosmetic flaws as you’d expect from a car of this age that has not been completely restored. Very presentable and a car that you’d be proud to own at a market correct price.

Regarding the interior – our experts have determined that parts of the interior have been either recovered and/or dyed over the years. The front seat and the front door mid section panels were recovered. The rear interior trim panels (mid sections) were recovered and rear interior sail panel pillows were dyed from white to red making the entire interior red. This would be easy for any trim shop to change back to red and white. The interior is vinyl and could have been ordered that way from the factory (cannot be determined for sure).

Due to the age of the car and the propensity for these cars to have frame issues, the owner decided to have the underside/frame proactively inspected by an expert. The decision was made to have the frame repaired where needed and then cosmetically restored to factory fresh.
