1956 Ford Panel Truck that was owned and built from the ground up by a Ford mechanic/engineer in the late 1960s. He built this camper to pull his roadster race car. He won several high end races and was a top racer in Texas. He built this rig and traveled the US with it. It has a built 302 with automatic transmission. So many advancements on this thing it’s ridiculous. I will do what I can to best describe this beauty.

So he had a generator under the hood on the driver side next to the motor. The generator is not included but all of the hookups are there to add a more efficient system in place. It has under dash air conditioning that works great. It has Power Thunderbird seats. It has a power inverter under the passenger seat. It is wired electrically and has a Regular RV plug with a 30’ cord. It has a fresh water holding tank, sink, fridge, inline fuse system. Interior lights throughout.

The top is a VW vanagon factory top that has been fitted to the roof. It folds up and locks in place. It has zip up screened windows in the top. There is a rear AC unit in the back door. The seat in the back folds down to make a full bed as well.

It has a propane stove with a tank in the exterior side compartment. Comes with extra parts and tools for this rig.

I would love to say this was a one of a kind rig. But he actually built two of them. The paint is not perfect and it could use some bodywork and repaint but it is absolutely super solid Texas vehicle with very little to no rust throughout the entire rig.

The gentleman passed away a few years ago and we were able to buy several of his vehicles. Everything works, all guages work, ac in the back works great. This would be such a cool piece to update a bit and just take off and go camping. It runs and drives great! It just need the brakes gone through and bled before any long trips.

The second one of these we have has a new Ford 302 crate motor and transmission in it. It is built exactly the same and it is in impeccable condition. It is not completely finished in the back. It has the nice wood floor and fold down bed frame. The sides are wired for electric put the have not been paneled and there is not anything in the rear of the panel truck except the bed. It has a newer vanagon top on it . Only issue is I have to put 4 new tires on it and go for a drive.

I am asking $40,000 OBO, would do a package deal on the pair of them if interested.
