1959 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 Flat top 4 door, ORIGINAL PAINT SURVIVOR.
43k miles. 371 2 barrel engine, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes. Runs, drives, stops and steers very well. Transmission shifts smooth. All exterior lights are in working condition. Very solid body for an East Coast car, as seen in pictures. Minor rust in lower fenders and surface rust around rear glass. Tires were replaced recently with Coker whitewall radials, including spare. All glass is in very good condition with no cracks or delaminating. Original AM radio works great and sound is very clear. Trunk is solid with original liner still in good condition. No butchered wiring under the dash. There was a small dent below the drivers side tail light and the molding was damaged. I was able to work it out but the paint will need to be touched up. A replacement molding is included. Overall it is a very solid, good running, original car that can be used as it is. But it does need some work. The exhaust system needs replaced but new mufflers and resonators are included. The heater core recently started to leak and a new one is also included. A previous owner replaced the gas tank and I was told it leaks, only when filled all the way. Possibly because the gasket was damaged when the sending unit was replaced. I have not had a chance to lower the tank to inspect but a new sending unit and gasket are included. PLEASE NOTE – ROOF RACK AND THERMOS SET ARE NOT INCLUDED IN SALE. I’m sure I’m missing something, so please ask all questions before bidding. Vehicle is available for inspection during duration of listing. I have a clear Pennsylvania title in my name.
