A friend of the family was going to build a 1/4 mile car out of this one. We bought it with the intention of restoring it into a modified driver, but we just cannot seem to find the time to get started on it. I have a lot of the trim and bumpers, but we had intended to buy all new stuff for it anyway, so I would plan on the same if I were you.
You can tell it was never a horrible rust bucket, but it has a lot of that typical ’57 repairs that were done in the 1980s. This is perfect for someone who wants to do a frame off their own way. We bought a driver’s side floor pan and had intended only to replace that one (it is included with the sale). There are NO OTHER NEW OR REPRODUCTION PARTS that go with this. Expect just a rolling and steering body that needs restoration and most of the old parts (dash cluster included also). I will include an incorrect front bench seat that came out of another friend’s ’57 and also what I believe to be a correct rear seat we purchased at a later time.
