This handsome 1950 Ford Custom Deluxe coupe is exactly what you’re looking for when your preference is for a great custom car with an all-around appeal. More well-integrated upgrades include modern R134a air conditioning, bronze-tinted windows, and a tilt steering column. While flathead V8 power was great to have back in the day, we now know some more potent powerhouses that will fit. So this now has a 305 cubic-inch Chevy V8 that is the shining heart in the middle of the dark and tidy engine bay. It has been built right with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and a dual exhaust with sweet-sounding Flowmaster mufflers. The Chevy transplant doesn’t end at the V8. An S10 independent front end was installed to provide a better ride and conveniences like power steering as well as front disc brakes. Plus, you have a GM four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive that was rebuilt and installed with the 2015 restoration.
