NOT MUCH BETTER THAN A RED BABY BIRD!

  • Head lights work. Tail lights work!
  • Brake lights work. Turn signals work!
  • Tachometer works. Horn works!
  • Gas gauge works. Heater blower works!
  • Gauge pack under dash and it works!
  • Speeometer not working, i have a new cable ordered!

HOW IS THE PAINT? The color is fiesta red, it shines very good, I see no dents or dings and no rust bubbles.
The car is straight down the sides. I do see a few touched chips, mostly on the edges. The top does need to be buffed, it has some orange peel.

HOW IS THE BODY RUST WISE? All the panels look original to me. No holes on the bottom, it does have the original under coating like we used in the day. Frame looks real solid, rockers look good.
The bottom is not sanded and detailed for show, its just a dirty old classic car on the bottom.

HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Not new, but usable, carpet good, dash coving good, seat cover has a couple of defect if you look close, headliner old with a patch, but usable.

HOW IS THE CHROME? Bumper chrome looks good, the bumpers are some kind of after market that fix real good. Door handles great, grill good, tail light bezels very nice, emblems decent.

HOW IS THE CONVERTIBLE TOP? Its a after market, the material still feels soft and the frame looks good.

HOW IS THE GLASS? No cracks, windshield good other than a stone mark in the center lower.

HOW IS THE ENGINE? A very good running 312, I see no smoke and no bad leaks. The oil pressure is good and the antifreeze clean.

HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? 3 speed manual, that shifts OK.

HOW ARE THE BRAKES? Decent for old school drum brakes.

HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? Good to me for the day.

HOW ARE THE TIRES? Good tread wear left and I didn’t see ting cracks.

HOW IS THE WEATHER STRIPPING? I have the 2 pieces that go above the door window ordered. Some of the other has paint on it and is getting dry.

WINDSHIELD WIPERS ARE NOT WORKING? Its still the old vacuum style. A electric motor kit is available.

WARNING? This is not as perfect as you might think it is. The paint is good and mechanical good. Some of the weather stripping has paint on it, I did order the most costly, the ones that go over the side glass in the doors, they cost over $100 each. The seat cover has a couple of defects, the trunk margin is off on the drivers side, the drivers window only rolls up 90%, need new regulator and parts. It is a decent body and it does run and look great, it just not a perfect Show Queen.
