Solid Nevada car it’s whole life, what little rust there was was repaired with NOS patch panels when the bodywork was done around 2005.
No pitting whatsoever on the chrome or stainless. Deleted Savoy trim when bodywork was done to upgrade to Belvedere trim.
All Belvedere trim included with sale with the exception of the hockey stick aluminum inserts and the stainless piece that goes between the taillights under the decklid. Have new tail light assemblies, extra door handles and other misc. extra trim.
Vehicle runs, drives and stops, but has been sitting in the garage on the lift pictured since 2017. At that time I removed the bumpers and sent them out to be rechromed. I also sent out the entire grille and headlight assemblies to be anodized and polished at great expense.
The only thing not done is the interior, could never find anybody around here to do it right.
Unfortunately, I had a couple of strokes in 2019 that stopped all progress. I have not worked on it since then.
it is time to let it go to someone that can finish it and get it back on the road again.
I’m sure you know how rare it is to find a reasonably priced ’58 2 door hard top, it took me 10 years of looking to find this one.
I have owned this vehicle 18 years and hate to let it go, but I am not physically able to finish it.
